DAY 1: CUSCO – CAPULIYOC – BEACH
This incredible adventure begins at 05:00 hrs in the morning with a pick up from your hotel and you will be driven through the Andes for a 4 hour drive to Capuliyoc (2850 m). Along the way there are views of villages, valleys, snow capped mountains. We meet our trekking horsemen, and pack our equipment onto the horse.
From here we can begin to enjoy the scenery, view of the Inca ruins of Choquequirao, and the Apurimac Canyon one of the deepest canyons in Peru. Then we descend for 3 more hours to Chiquisca to enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch we continue for 2 hours to the first camp at Playa Rosalinas (2061 m). The trekking team will be waiting for you with a hot drink. There we will spend the night.

DAY 2: BEACH – MARANPATA – CHOQUEQUIRAO
After breakfast, we cross the bridge and hike for the next 4 hours to Maranpata, where we will have lunch and also enjoy the view of the Inca ruins. The lost city of Choquequirao is a spectacular place. The second night is only 22 minutes from the ruins, which means you will be closer to the archaeological site. This is the most important city of the Inca empire. It was built towards the end of their rule in the 20th century. DAY 3: CHOQUEQUIRAO
We wake up with a cup of coca or tea. After breakfast, we will visit the famous archaeological site of Choquequirao. We will explore all sections of the temples, the terraces, the palaces, the Llamas section and many more.
Choquequirao means “Golden Can” in Inca Quechua language, it is considered the city (sister of Machupicchu). Officially rediscovered at the end of the 20th century. After exploring everything, we return to the same campsite for dinner and overnight.

DAY 4: MARAMPATA – BEACH – CHIQUISCA
After a delicious breakfast, we get ready for our 2-hour hike back to Marampanta and the Apurimac Canyon. On the way your guide will tell you about the flora and fauna of the place. You will observe impressive waterfalls, clouds rising from the bottom of the canyon.
From Marampata, you will start hiking for 4 hours to La Playa, from that point we need trekking poles. Along the way you will have a relaxing break to enjoy the fresh fruit that is grown in the area. Then, we continue for 2 hours to the camp in Chiquisca, where you can also see wild animals such as spectacled bears, condors, and much more.
